So I’m currently an intern at a 3D and web studio for school. Now I have to make an essay for school about my internship and here’s the cover I made for the essay. It’s completely 3D, no photoshop edit or anything.

Garbage goes where..?
How to use… De Prullenbak! Oh.. a “Prullenbak” is a garbage bin. This is a poster made for yet another school assignment where we had to make a campaign to make everyone more aware of their own environment. This one is to show, that you do not just throw your junk on the ground, but instead you throw it in the “prullenbak”. At first I wanted to use text instead of the images, to explain the manual of how to use it. But after some research, no one really reads large parts of texts on this kind of posters. So, I made these illustrations which, hopefully, everyone can interpret as a human throwing his/her junk in the trash can.

Starck is here?
So, this is yet another school assignment. This one was to make a poster (made in A3 for presentation) for a Philippe Starck exposition. We had to use some of the design rules we learned over the year on this one and make the photograph by ourselves in another class. So basically the photo and the poster are two different assignments. The photo will be rated by one teacher and the poster by another. Unfortunately I do not know the names of the rules I have applied in English, so I’ll try to explain what I did. First of all I used the colours and logo from Stracks website so that people would be reminded of him in a flash view.

Walk away
This photograph was made by me. I made this for a school assignment, where we had to view some photographs made by famous photographers and copy their style in your own. It’s been a while since I made this picture, but for portfolio purposes I’m posting it anyway. I can’t remember with what camera and which settings I made this but I think it was either a Canon or a Nikon (since those are the only two brands we have at school).

The birth of a new blog!
Welcome to VisualArcade. The blog about anything that is definitely worth watching. Everything always starts with an idea, which is why I thought this light bulb in the dark would be the perfect resemblance for my first post. And as ideas grow, they become great works of art, stunning films, amazing photographs and outstanding websites. Or they flunk and you will never see it again until some one uses CPR on it.
